Pass Time

 

To help pass the time on this achingly slow healing process I have been journaling through my emotions

My day in the sun

I haven’t been taking Tylenol since Thursday and have a headache today as well as a cough when I take deep breaths

 

Just for today

Martin made me granola with extra protein for breakfast 

Monet came to visit and so did my mom & dad and helped Martin pick up the Audi from the repair shop

1 month

1 month ago today I slipped and broke my leg

Martin has been here every day to help me and love me

And send me sunset photos from walking Fritz

Healing in Progress

Healing is a slow process it’s been 4 weeks tomorrow since I broke my leg

Betting On You

My mom & dad brought me a watermelon today and are hoping that my leg is healing 

Martin is betting on me getting better and stronger than ever before

Marilee brought me ice cream today

Divy refilled my water

Martin made me laugh and smile which is so important at this stage in the healing process

I have a rash on my neck from something and I had a virtual visit today with my primary care doctor. She has ordered a dexa scan for bone density as she said that a ground level fall like this should not have been this bad. 

 

Aria & Reece

 

Monet came to visit today and braid my hair

She also brought Aria and Reece with her

Monet gave her a ticket home for her birthday which is tomorrow

They are going to Lagoon today

Martin brought me flowers today when he went to the grocery store

Eating healthy salads everyday to grow bones

I was able to wash my leg today and not pass out from looking at it

Martin turned 55 today

I asked my mom to bring a cake 

To celebrate the love of my life

Markus and Sam came up for pizza and games

And to sing Happy Birthday

Life goes on

Markus is a caddy for the Utah Golf Association

Martin took Divy to his first SBSEF ski team training at Woodward in Park City

Marilee is still listing houses for sale and coming to visit me

All while I’m sitting with my leg up 

Monet stayed with me all night 

Mom & Dad came to bring me flowers as well

For Martin massaged Mom’s leg while she was here

Follow up appointment today with Dr. Higgin’s the orthopedic surgeon who operated on my leg almost 3 weeks ago

I was not prepared for how bad my leg would look and feel after having the cast removed
And the stitches taken out 

Martin took me to and from my appointment, and went to Tulle for Divy’s birthday cake and breakfast croissants
