One Day At A time

We rolled out the new carpet

Divy was sick but we still painted his room and moved his bed and dresser over to his new room 

His old room still needs a bit of a cleaning but he will get there 
 

A Peaceful Heart

Humility is said to be perpetual quietness of heart

It means I do my best and trust God to take care of the rest

Although I may not know how my help will come - I can remain serene

All I have to do is ask my higher power for healing.

Works in so many ways. By changing my behavior I’m learning that other people’s behavior may change as well. But it’s not tied to mine. Today’s reminder: 

Today I will have the courage to look the truth in the face, admit my errors and my achievements, appreciate my growth, and make amends where I have done harm.

 She had a warehouse sale and invited me to come have a look. I bought this rug and brass coffee mugs after dropping off the new Audi for the battery recall.

 That we took 30 years ago! We were both pregnant with our first babies - Monet with Kailey and me with Morgen. And they will both turn 30 this year! Time does go by whether it’s fast or slow it doesn’t matter. We have grown and become different people in so many ways but raising our favorite people on earth is something both of us would not change in anyway. I could love them more than I could ever promise. And they take me the way I am.

Embracing my journey

Markus moved all his things downstairs and Sam loves living with him. I’m trying to embrace my journey and enjoy this time in my life on the weeks when we have Divy and go to dance class. I have learned so many things from the Al-anon family group. One of them being to focus on my self and who I am as a person not all the things that have happened to me.
