Around lunchtime, I walked outside still wearing pajama bottoms and a tee shirt. The cold settled in and caught me this round. The brothers pulled out their iPhones and settled in next to each other last night on the bed. I left my spot and returned with a bowl of noodle soup and crackers. The little one laughed until he had hiccups and sampled a hot pocket before spitting out part of his tooth. He felt the loose edge of his cracked root canaled tooth splay out like a spike; one I would likely schedule an appointment at the dentist for at 2:30 later.
