As you know, the best course of action to take when your backcountry bike trip gets cancelled due to the storm of the century, is to unplug, take a time-out. Yet, when we're trying, and failing, to pass that test, or the clinic is short staffed, or we're writing email after email of profoundly meaningless material, and we've got a big chair position looming in the not-so-distant future, we tend to push harder, overanalyze, get self-critical. Meanwhile, success comes from being in the flow, not forcing it until it breaks.
