Monday morning sunrise on my way to work. Thinking about President Russell Nelson who won’t get to see this early sunrise ever again. And the victims of the church shooting that won’t either. Grieving with those that grieve. 

End of the Season

End of the season pool party

Martin and I went to swim in the outdoor pool for the last day of this season 

It felt so good 

To feel the sun on my skin one more time

Since Martin went hiking with Divy for the ski team today

I took my mom

And Dad

On a picnic - in the parking lot 

And a drive through Midway to see the trees

Fritz loved it

And so did I 

 

Ten Years Ago

Ten years ago today

I was at this park for a little different occasion 

Today I just went by myself to walk among the leaves

And remember who I am 

In walking 

All the way to the river
