The Flying Penguins team went undefeated throughout the first four games of the tournament!

Max told me after his first game on Friday morning that it was the most fun he had ever had playing hockey. When I asked him why, he said it was because he got so much playing time and it was so fun!

California Dreamin'

Only I'm not dreaming, it's for real. Max is playing in a hockey tournament in Anaheim this weekend and his team, the Flying Penguins won the first two games today! The weather is great and I will post photos after I get home.

Meeting the Mouse

We were lucky enough to get to go to Disneyland on the same day as my sister Monet and her girls Kailey and Aria. They had spring break this week as well and came down to California on Saturday. We met up with them today and met Minnie Mouse!

Minnie gave Max a hug and let him kiss her hand!

The Mommy Balance

Who is she? She is a mother, a daughter, a friend, a child of God, a believer, a guardian, a teacher and an athlete. How does she do it all? Can she? As much as she would like to...balance is key, it's usually off...weighted too heavy to one, stealing from the other...but she'll keep trying to find - the perfect balance.

Some photos from yesterdays accelerated team game against the South East Valley team. Murray beat out SEV 11-0. Max had a fun time playing with all of his friends from last years all star team again. He made the accelerated team this year, even though he wasn't sure that he would. His coach, Rob, gave him a "Tribe" hat, the Super League team that he didn't have time to try out for last year, so that he could have the same hat as everyone else on the accelerated team. Rob told him that he will eventually be on the Tribe team anyways. ;)
