Markus had a game this morning versus the Pioneers. I think the Pioneers won 4 -1, but Markus was playing great. He got a new stick for his birthday and he was excited to use it. His coach, Matt, was teaching him how to carry the puck on the open ice at practice on Thursday and noticed that his old stick, that used to be Max's, was too small. Today he was skating like he was on wheels trying to get his stick on the puck.
Max's Knight team had a game right after Markus' and they played the Badgers. The Knights won 4-1: Max had two goals and an assist. It was a really exciting game to watch as there were three of the Lightning team players on each team. And seven of my students between the two teams.
