Max tried out for the accelerated baseball team that the league has put together yesterday and made it! He was so excited, that on top of his regular baseball practice in the morning, drop-in hockey in between, Markus' baseball practice and teaching skating both in the morning and in the afternoon. While I was at the rink teaching one of my little students, Amelie, the skate guard was cruising around backwards and crashed into me. I managed to protect Amelie for the most part, she only had a scrape on her lip, but I have bruises all over, from my chin to my shins. Crazy new kid, he didn't know the rules of skate guarding yet I guess, to help people not knock them over!
