Playing

After teaching primary this morning, I ran Max and his friend Killian out to their Lightning practice at Accord. It was a really fun practice to watch...the first part of the practice before the coaches came out on the ice, there were just a few of the boys out there playing with the puck. They were laughing and talking, shooting, skating and scoring. It made me kind of wish that we lived somewhere where boys could just go out and play on a pond somewhere for fun. I imagine that would be what the sheer joy of playing could be like.
