Good Crowd

for a good game

Random hockey fact of the day: During an intense NHL game, it’s imperative that players stay hydrated and full. This is why they eat protein before games and have lots of hydrating liquids with them on the bench and in the dressing room. In a game, the average hockey player can lose between 5-10 pounds, most of which is water.
Markus had practice tonight while Max played in his first home game of his senior year. When Markus showed me his 'player evaluation' form from his off-ice training, it was informative, to say the least. Here is what it said ~
  • Push ups - 56
  • Sit ups - 50
  • Vertical jump {in.} - 19"
  • Broad jump - 88"
  • Timed running test - 8.71
  • 3-cone agility test - 8.14
