- Watching the sunrise and sunset on the same day. The flight was near empty, so I settled in to sleep on my three seats. I have this system: I sit in the middle seat, fasten my fully loosened seat belt, lie down/curl up sideways, and open my large orange cashmere scarf into a blanket. It is thin, warm and blocks all light.
- The highlight of my day was being with Markus in Disneyland on his 14th birthday. Nothing can beat that.
- Except maybe hearing the news of winning the state championship back home.
