Ceremonies

Sitting at the opening ceremonies for the world series, thinking about all the ceremonies in life. I happen to be someone who loves ritual and ceremony to an inordinate degree. I've read Joseph Campbell, I get it. I really do. I recognize that ceremony is essential to humans. It's a circle that we draw around important events, to separate the momentous from the ordinary.
