Connor Shawn

Sheri had her baby yesterday at 2:24 p.m. and he weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19" long. They named him Connor Shawn and he looked beautiful. She nursed him and sent him for a bath with Shane and the nurse. When Shane came back he told her there was something seriously wrong with Connor and they were sending him to the NICU. After several tests and 30 hours they still didn't know what was wrong so they decided to life flight him to Primary Children's hospital today. The nurse told Sheri to take some photos and gave Connor to her to hold one last time, before giving her his blanket and bracelets.

She had no idea if she would ever see him again alive. Her friend Ashley called to tell me they were life flighting him and I told her I would go to the hospital. Sheri and Shane had to drive and arrived two hours later. By the time they got there, the Dr.'s at Primary's had determined it was a heart problem and ordered an EKG and Echo right away. Connor is in critical condition at PICU. I stayed with them until almost midnight tonight, and they still hadn't determined what exactly was wrong with his heart.
