What if our success was not based on the number of games won in a season but instead on the memories made and friendships created? That's exactly what summer league hockey was for Max. He told me on the way home tonight that he was sad, not because they lost in over time in the championship game, but that the season is over.
Post Update:
Coach Jim emailed to schedule another scrimmage game on Monday. Max is excited for the season to continue and he will get to play with most all of his friends from this season in the fall either with high school or travel hockey. He's been shooting pucks outside like crazy!
