Hollywood

My sister Lara works for SkyWest and her boyfriend Todd is a pilot there as well. She let us purchase some buddy passes to fly down to her son Kiel's wedding on Saturday in Los Angeles. We were trying to get on their flight down to Burbank but it was sold out and buddy passes are on stand by only. So we actually took the earlier flight into LAX instead.

Markus was pretty excited to fly...he has flown before but when he was about nine months old on the way to Germany and again when he was sixteen months old on the way to Paris. So he didn't remember it at all. He held my hand once we were air born and kept saying how high up we were.

Once we rented the car we drove around LA and Hollywood. Santa Monica Blvd. and Sunset Strip, where we stopped for some tasty In-n-out burgers. The boys were starving by the time we found it, so I think it tasted especially good to them.

Then we went down to Grauman's Chinese theater and walked around looking at all the celebrities foot and hand prints.

The Kodak Theater was right next door so we walked around and looked at that as well as all the stars (and Freaks...) on Hollywood Blvd. Then we went to our hotel and swam in the pool until it closed at 11.
