Update on Connor

Connor is off of oxygen and breathing on his own. He still has the feeding tube in and is being monitored so the Dr.'s can make their decision today or tomorrow about when he needs the next surgery. Sheri was able to nurse him today and he was moved into his own room as well, in the surgery recovery unit. Which means he doesn't have his own nurse any more so Sheri is staying at the hospital tonight instead of sleeping at Lara's. When I went to see her today and take her the pump that she needed, she seemed concerned over the readings on his blood pressure. They were a little low and the Dr.'s might need to do the surgery, which she was hoping he could put off until he was 2 months old. The 3 cardiologists that were assigned to his case couldn't (or wouldn't) make a decision yesterday as far as when to do the next surgery so they are going before the board of 40 doctors from around the region today to discuss Connor's heart.

Whitney came with me after I visited Sheri at the hospital. She wanted to play with Markus again. Max has hockey practice tonight so I will just drop her off after I take Max, since my sister Lara just lives two streets away from the rink. Ashley is staying there with Josslyn and Shane flew out today. Lara has been so great to feed all of them, I offered to take them dinner but she went to Costco and loaded up on everything they needed.
