Like a Lightning Bolt

Markus had some good news today. The Lightning team that he tried out for last week had one of the players drop out at the last minute so his coach, Matt, called me today (about an hour before practice) to tell me that they want Markus on the team after all. When I picked Markus up from school and told him he was pretty excited, and if he hadn't been sick, I am sure he would have been ecstatic! He has had a fever, cough, and a sore throat since Saturday. He still wanted to go to practice though so I gave him some Motrin when he got home from school and headed up to his practice. He played great and you never would have known he wasn't feeling well.
