I collect quotes. Sometimes I pin them on Pinterest. The collected words puddle together, trickle down through my thoughts and live deep inside; a pool ready to be swam in, or paddled across in a canoe. Sometimes I use them to wash away the dust of an ordinary day, so I can go forward, stronger. This quote though, is one I've had pinned in my kitchen cupboard for years. I first read it when I was in Austria I think or wherever Goethe's statue is located. I came across it again when I was reading a Covey book and then again when I went to a Relief Society meeting. It seemed to be telling me something. Something I think I needed to hear.
