I played an actual round of golf for the first time ever last night. I have used my clubs, that I got for my birthday last year, a few times to hit a bucket of balls and do some putting but not ever out on the course. I loved playing and thought it was so peaceful and relaxing out on old Mick Riley.
I took three lessons last fall at Golfer's Edge where I got my clubs, but I forgot just about everything the instructor taught me I think, since I doubled par (+3!) on the par 3 course. I need some more lessons, but I still had a great time and can't wait to try again soon.
